Mr. Wolverine is the annual pageant organized and managed by LLSA. It is held every Winter semester and features faculty and/or staff as judges. The first Mr. Wolverine pageant originated with LLSA alum Alicia Broughel, who believed Mr. Wolverine would inspire Law School students to give back to underrepresented communities. This pageant features professor impersonation, talent show, and question-and-answer. Tickets have always sold out, so be sure to snag your tickets early.
The proceeds of Mr. Wolverine go towards a scholarship for a LLSA member committed to a career in public interest. This Comunidad Fellowship is awarded during the Mr. Wolverine event, and the recipient is selected by professors and MLaw alumni in public interest careers.
